If you needed then why did you get the 1000. I'm guessin that you heard in these forums that it was suppose to be comin out in may, and pretty much counted on it comin out. The update is nice but theres also a chance that it won't come out. If I were you i would get really familiar with the extract feature jus in case, if not you could sell your 1k, if you get tired of using the extract. Jus hold shift + left or right cursor key. This works alot better then just tryin to scroll where you want to extract. Jus tryin to help out.

I knew the MPC1k didn't have these features and don't expect them to add them. I do enjoy the extract feature, but it would be much more convenient to have built in zoning and time stretch. And ever since I read the March/April release of Scratch I've been looking forward to the upgrade. So I hope that was accurate information.

I may be the only one on the forum but i'd mutch rather have a reverse function instead of having to reverse my samples on the pc whenever i just want a reverse cymbal or sumthin.
I don't sample mutch so i don't really need zoning and timestretch , but i can understand that it's a very usefull cool feature for hiphop producers.
Greetz...
