I've searched but could not find...I have a beat on my MPC, rather than save as a sample and put it on my computer as a WAV, I want to mix out each track into Cubase SL. I want to do this for a few reasons but one because I want my VST's to save with the song. Can anybody hook a brother out and let me know what I need to do, I've read through Cubase's manual and it didn't work. I already have out from MPC in to in on my interface. If this subjects been beat then at least tell me what to type to search...thanks.

the think with cubase is it takes so long to setup!

go to Audio Options and select your Interface, then go to VST connections and set up your Bus' so that u can recieve the input signal.
To be honest I use Ableton live cause it is much faster! to do this!!! the time it takes to set up in cubase is like a fraction in Ableton Live, however i recently discovered a midi sync bug that can be annoying where if u scrool further into your song it makes the mpc jump 3 bars back on play. so in order to make it play in snyc and on beat u have to start from the begining of the track each time.

Thanks, but I've done all that...that's what the Cubase book told me to do...I figured that with what Class shows would work, instead I can hear it play and control it...just nothing records.

load up the mixer, in there should be the bus' u made on the right should be the tracks, expand them by clicking the + on the left till u see the routing options choose your inputs there. this will allow u to record.

i already knew how to do it, i just dont like the program!! to many clicks for one thing, in ableton its just a click away or already done for u. oh well.

if u got MSN i can remote assist u and show u how its done.
