motif es rack to 1000 how do i send more than 1 sound /save

Yea, so i copped the motif es rack and i got it all hooked up to the mixer and mpc via midi and such. I cannot figure out how to have more than 1 sound from the rack go to the mpc. Someone said sumtin about multi mode but i cant figure it out? i want to be able to use bass one track , keys another etc on the 1000 aviously. Also how do i save the beat on the 1000 when im done so i dont lose all my midi settings and how will my rack know what sound to choose or will the mpc send it signals to tell it?

In order to play different things with the motif in the MPC, that's just a simple channel set-up...(ie:Bass on track 1 with ch. 1A on the MPC and Motif on the channel 1. Piano on track 2 on ch 2A and motif on channel 2 etc.) In order for them to play everytime you set it up I think you need to just name them different things in your MPC so you know where you got them from, then load them everytime from the Motif. (There may be an easier way but that I'm not sure about.)

and read ya motif manual. you want to make sure that the Motif sounds are also on the same channels you have on the mpc.

if you open the multi editor....and go into part detail you can set each channel belonging to each particular sound. You need to save the multi settings and then when you load your song you'll need to select this multi too. Hope its clear
