weird midi problem with Triton LE combis and 1k

when i go in the Seq mode of the triton and import tracks from combi, it makes my mpc seq. go 'dead' in a way... the midi signal is still sending because it shows up in the mpc and my proteus 2000, but even if i change tracks over to the proteus it wont play any audio... anyone with a triton LE and 1k have any experience with how to get around this? combinations would be nice to use in some tracks

thats a good question. I have an Le and a 1k, but I never really mess with combis, so i cant help you. If you figure out an answer, let me know. It probably has something to do with which channel the combi is coming in on. I assume that since the combis are multi-program sounds, that the 1k has trouble recognizing multiple programs on one channel. You might just have to overdub your combis audio style, but dont quote me on that.

Also, I have a question for you: How do you save the triton patches for an Le/1k session so you can reload a session? I've just been naming them the same thing and saving the triton patches on the tritons smart media card, but theres probably a better way to do it. any pointers?

yea i do the same thing for saving, i just save the shit as the same name to the smart media as i do with the mpc... i still aint figured it out yet, its an odd problem, but if i do i'll follow up on it, because the damn combis are nice, id love to use them in some tracks.

as far as sounds, the le is pretty nice, its been treating me well so far, i use it alongside my proteus 2000 module, they work real well together... i'll i really want now is a synth, either a microkorg or maybe a waldorf micro q rack, then i'll be pretty straight for awhile... now if i can start using some of those combis! then that shit will be monsterous
