Quantizing earlier and later

is this possible on the mpc1000? on the 4000 its in the TC menu.

quantizing earlier and later is not the same on the 1000 (as compared to doing it on the 2000xl).

you can shift tracks forward and backward by going to the seq edit page and moving tracks. everyone says it is exactly the same, but to me it isnt...at least when i'm doing hi hats it seems different....and not in a good way.

but try it, everyone else seems content with it.

earlier or later than what? do you mean change the time sig? sure just go to the T.C. tab. maybe i still don't get your ? b/c you mentioned T.C. before as if you've used it before. oh well, i guess you should just explore T.C. some more.

on other mpc's when you go to the TC screen there is an option for shifting the quantize earlier or later by a specified amount. but on the 1000 they took that feature away (excpet for how i just described using the SEQ edit move option).
