extending sequence

I sometimes make drum loops in set to 2 bars and later make another track set to 4 bars. how can i copy my 2 bars to play 4 bars, i've tried sequence edit and all it does is add bars and not notes.

yo siliconmonk is having the same problem see if he got his problem fixed. He post it a couple days a go.......... old fashion pen and pad & step edit.

why don't you jus turn loop off and let it play the length of time u want and then jus stop it.

theres no copy and paste or something like that on the mpc?

I believe the top of page 26 of the manual is what your lookin for.

The problem (*cough* user error) I was having was that one of the tracks on the sequence I was copying to was muted. The track on the one I was copying from was not. So when I finished the copy, the track that I was expecting to hear in the full sequence was not playing. Now I double check the track muting every time before I copy
