sound card with 1k

I need to buy a sound card to link my 1k to my computer. some people say midi interface some say sound card with 1/4 jacks. All this is new to me so can I get some advise from people who has this type of set up.. I have reason 3.0,sonar le, fl studio and acid. I also have a midi keyboard and a korg xd5 keyboard. I want to use them both...............
