yeah, mine gets hot, too.

what makes it even more weird is that sometimes it just gets warm, even after a couple of hours in use.

and then sometimes it really gets hot, but I'm still not that worried - maybe a mistake of mine?

I don't know.

maybe a stupid sugestion but if you overdrive the inputs does this not make it get hotter ??

i find my make mixer sometimes get super hot but then im driving it hard ,, or maybe its just my imagination

as well of course a room with little ventilation and high tempretures will affect this as well

also the question is has anyone blown the pwr supply of their MPC due it being one for days on end

i've noticed that it gets much warmer when i'm recording. maybe its the sampling engine? whenever i'm just sequencing or playing its cooler.

Mine gets hot enough to fry an egg on the top right ASR10 logo. But it never stopped working because of heat.

its electonics is going to get hot. I mean if its hot to where you will burn yourself, then thats a problem, but just normal hott is something complety different. and if your that worried start keeping your gear in a cooler place. I usually work in a space that is very cold and even now in the summer I have to have a jacket and sweater and watch cap inside. But that is the only way to keep the gear cool.

the manual tells to turn it off after every hour of work...ok no one does that, but that´ll fix the problem...

the smart thing to do is go buy a little fan, like $5 from walmart, a dedicated fan for only the mpc. Keep it right next to it, pointed at it, and only use it for that.

Should cool it off plenty for you.
