When I hit a pad on my MPC, the whole sample plays all the way through. Is there a way to make the sample play only while you're holding the pad down? For example, if I had a sample of a voice saying "Yes Yes Yall" and I hit a pad, it will say "Yes Yes Yall". But if I only want it to say "Yes Yes" or just "Yes", is there a way to do that; without loading multiple samples?
Hope that question makes sense.

In program mode highlight the sample and hit window, then scroll over to "note-on".

Thanks TFUNK, can't wait to try it!
I get almost all my samples off wax and then turn them in to WAV's in CUBASE or ACID.

 The same way you convert gas into water, with a mile of electricity...

.ALL files are midi = instructions to play this note on that tick at velocity x and level y. They are not sound. So they can't be converted.
