Stupidest mistake ever...

I got an MPC literally 20 minutes ago, just came thru the post. I was tapping away and the playback was a little stilted... I started sweating thinking it was broken or something, or the OS was corrupted. And..... then I turned note correct off! Everything plays back "natural" now. I nominate myself for stupidest mistake ever, having thought the sequencer was broken when it was just trying to HELP.

I feel you man, I hate when youve overlooked something and you think your equipments bust. I'll bet you had a great sigh of relief dude.

Just the other day my protools wouldn't allow us to play the song. We had just finished the mixdown and everything.... I was calling folks at 2:00 AM like "hey man I know it's late" but it turns out we pushed a button the keyboard that switch the control on the transport to midi...had to switch it back to pro tools....took about an hour to figure it out.....we all do dumb sh*t!!

everytime i cant find something after a session i think the client stole it

i always feel like the biggest d1ck ever when i find it. feels so terrible EVERY SINGLE TIME lol

one time i convinced myself that this old guy stole my melodica, ends up i left it at a party while i was drunk. ugh. i got all mad at him and everything (it was the next day and he was long gone). i felt like such an idiot when it turned up.
