Hey there. Im having a lil problem

I am at a stage where I can start recording my tracks onto Sonar and start editing them, eq'ing them etc. I made the MPC 1000 a slave and Cakewalk sonar producer 4 editon the master. Now I configured the inputs and outputs just fine, and since sonar is the master I chose Audio Sync and not Midi Sync because I am recording the track in the audio track. Now since sonar is the master I configured the tempo to match with my first sequence tempo on the mpc which was 90. I can record into sonar perfectly fine but here's the problem. On my second sequence, the tempo is 88.5 and not 90. So this means the timing is going to be off. How can I make it so when Im recording into sonar, it can change tempos as the sequence changes?

I did it vice versa, making the mpc the master and sonar the slave, and I record it as an midi sync on a midi track, and it records it 100% perfect, according to the tempo, even when it changes to the next sequence, it matches the tempo to that as well. AFter I finish recording it shows the blocks indicating the recorded track but when I goto play it back it doesnt play anything *confused*

I want to record it as an audio track but I can get it to switch tempos when the mpc changes to a difference sequence. What do you think, should I make the mpc the master or the slave? Plus should I record it as an audio or midi track?

Please reply back

you can sincronize sonar4 (master) - mpc (slave) insert event change tempo in list event from sonar4
