hey whats up?i got my mpc 1k and i love it i made my first beat already just a simple pattern lol now i got a question when i got the thing on 4 bars and im bangin on the pads i cant seem to stop on 004.04.95 either i got over then when i play the beat theres 2 kicks and it messes it up or i stop too early and i got all this extra time how do i fix this?

i could maybe help you if you didnt type in run on sentences. i dont understand. be patient though cause someone will get ya

try setting it at like 2 bars and make it loop, and with the click you should be ok. welcome.

lol alright.when im recording and im hitting the pads i always go over 004.04.95 when i got it on 4bars.so when i go over its still recording and i mess up the beat because i got a snare over a snare.if i dont go over i stop too early which leaces me with all of this free time.so is there a way to fix this.

damn thats crazy right there, your setting it to 4 bars but it keeps recording? i mean, you gotta let that last bar run its course before bar 1 comes back in ya know?

yeah thanks but forget 4bars lol. ill just use 2 like bare foot said.this way i dont got to get just right i can hold the repeat and pad forever lol

Experiment with mode >> step edit and delete the extra kicks, or practive so you can stop on time
