Filter

Hey I using a sample from a 80 chick. The sample has a crazy heavy
metal guitars all over it. I sent it through a high pass filter, low pass,band pass and still can here the guitar. So my question is would a rack mount filter do the job? I also us a panoramic eq also......thanks

Distorted guitars and vocals occupy basically the same freq range. I don't think applying or removing EQ will remove the gits, but I haven't heard the specific sample you're working on so who knows...

if the frequencies of the sound you're trying to remove are the same as those you're trying to sample, you're not gonna be able to remove it.

try to find something more solo-ed out.
