I just got a used MPC 1000 but it has no sounds on it....I am guessing the previous owner took them all out for some reason....Does any one know where I can get the sounds that come with it????

you can download them from the akai site. A few good sounds to get you started, but you deff want to check out this site. I slept on it for a while until I got bass and breaks and tweaked the hell out of it, now its my main source of drums

The sounds that came with the mpc 1k suck. You should sample your own.

I have to disagree with that. I think they are some very good samples.

Yeah they do suck and I have a lot of my own but I wanted them any way....The clap and bass that it had was pretty nice....Couldn't hurt to have more sounds....Bad or not cuz I could always tweak them in pro tools!!!!

They're all in the internal memory. Just reset the machine. The instructions are in the manual.
