mpc 1000/cubase tracking question

Ihave it all hooked up correctly with my soundcard/mpc. i have the mpc set on 1 A. and in cubase i have it synced. I dunno what to do now. Exactly how i record or track. im pretty sure its set up right. where do i go from here. thanks

Well are you planning on doing your midi sequencing on the mpc or in cubase? If your doing it in the mpc you should just create your beat then press record on cubase to record it into cubase. What exactly are you asking?

do a search for one of my guides...also erm another guy has a more in depth guide in order how to make all the channels work 1-16 etc.
