mpc 1k and computer problem

i hooked my mpc 1000 up to my computer with a usb cable and i am dragging and dropping drum sounds from frooty loops into the mp. all the sounds are 16 bit 44k. however, when i play the sounds in my mpc i get a really loud staticky noise. appreciate help, thnx

where did you get the samples from?
