Black MPC1000

Looks like future models of the MPC1000 are going to be black. Check this pic from the Akai 2005 product brochure.

That looks pretty tight, better than the red and blue in my opinion. I think this colour with blue backlights would be cool.

Akai does this all the time. Remember that ugly off white shit theyhad..than the blue now black....

black is nice but this one looks a bit dull just black and grey. the green lights should definitel be blue too

This picture isn't really new so to speak....If you remember, when pictures of the 1k started surfacing back before it came out, this is the color that it was in most pictures....I am not saying that they won't release the 1k black, I am just saying that there has already been some made before!!!!

i've never ever seen a black MPC1000 at that time. I do remember pics with blue ones that had dark grey pads.

looks like its got inputs on the front of it (next to the headphone socket)

those are footswitch inputs, same as on the blue MPC1000.
The brochure also mentions the hard disk option: HDM10

yeah that thing would probably look a lot nicer sitting next to my laptop than my 1K, but i'm about to start givin a fuk about that.

If and when that does come out i would definitely cop the black cover and sides.

i love that color.... but youre right, would be better with blue lights/screen.
