do you have to apply the same swing settings to both your mpc and ableton?

ps. i hate you for getting given that 900

i know, it shouldnt! --- but it REALLY does -- its very distinct -- i have a nice like- 58% swing thing goin -- kinda reagge hi hat thing - then when i press play -- bam -- no more swing-

i dont think changing the swing in ableton should change it -- this is very much a mystery to me --

i guess ill try it this morning and see if its still doin it - but - geeze -- this sucks

my computers getting very low on disc space at the moment-- could it be that its having such a hard time sending out the timeing info that it compltly eliminates the swing by keeping the mpc guessing at the tempo?? -- its my only theory :(

the MIDI signal should be MIDI Clock not MTC. and if this is not the case for u then ablton has still got a few bugs init..

edit, when i was using Live, it used to play the mpc in time, but if I would make it play at a given time in song mode, it would resume playback 2bars back instead of the time i told to play at...wierd!
