Easiest Way to Move Events

What is the fastest way to move an event to a different time in the step edit mode? Right now I'm copying the event, and then pasting it to a new time. Is there a way to just change the timecode of an event directly?

Yes, in SEQ EDIT mode.

Go to page 25 of your manual.

highlight the time u want to change then, move the cursor to the time then change it , press overdub and then the pad u want. then delete the old event.

I still wish I could edit the actual time field of each event with the data wheel, though. It would be cool if you could highlight the event, hit 'window' and then edit the time. But your method is faster than what I was doing before, anyway. Thanks again.
