NEED IDEAS PAINTING MY 1000 SIDES TOMMOROW

NAME SOME GOOD COLORS.. I LIKE THE WHITE AND SILVER IDEAS.. WHAT ELSE ARE SOME GOOD COLORS?

Hey man whats up?
I never though of this at the time of spraying mine but I think a much brighter shade of red would be hot. The default red is very dark, almost maroon.
Black sides would also be pretty cool.

To answer your question from your other post, i just bought a can of spray paint from halfords (UK Store) but Im sure you would be able to find just a standard can of spray paint in Walmart or something. I took the sides and CF slot cover off. Then I just sat them on a large spread of newspaper. You need to hold the can quite far away and use short hard sprays to stop any runs. Just keep going this way until you find a technique thats working and you feel comfortable with. Im sure you will be pleased with the end result. Take your time though and don't rush it.

short hard sprays? i think that would cause running more! anything ive painted (mpc included) ive used long sweeping strokes from about 12 inches away. maaaaad coats too.

just be careful and take your time when taking the machine apart

u might try the grey from the pads, this might look very dope.

Erm, I dont think so. I would imagine LONG hard sprays would cause runs. Common sense if you ask me. Im not talking distance here, im talking about the length of time you spray for. Perhaps i should have said short bursts.

the faceplate is metal so you can strip it and do it again as much as u want

i'd go wid a dark blue to match the screen

id rather make the screen match the black paint

but i left it alone so i didnt mess it up

im doing dark blue. and im going to paint the purple buttons white, to make everything come together more.

how do you take out the card reader becuz I took out the screw but it seems like there's somethin holdin it and i don't wanna tug too hard and break it so i figured i'd ask

the back panel needs to come off
as well as the sides
then the fron panel where the mem card reader slot is comes off
then the main faceplate

thats all

then paint what u want

let it dry

then put it back together the same way u took it apart

the plastic for the mem card reader can be popped out of the front plate

and if ur painting the face plate u can take the clear screen cover off as well with a little push
