Wassup y'all
I want to start using my MPC1000 combined with my Roland Fantom to record midi into my Pro Tools Le 6.9/Digi 002 combo. The LE software is to become the master sequencer.
I'm just curious as to what would be the optimal way to set my gear up from a MIDI perspective.
The mpc1000 has 2 midi ins and 2 midi outs, and the fantom has 1 in, 1 out and 1 thru.
My goal is to record midi drums from my mpc1000 into LE as well as midi synth/keyboard lines into LE. I don't have a problem 'patching' wise (ex, audio and midi patches), i'm wondering how its done and if my digi002 interface can handle these two devices for recording midi into LE. My digi 002 has 1 IN port, 2 OUT ports (16 channels IN/32 channels OUT). Can somebody guide me in the right direction with streaming the data properly?
