Mixin Capabilities

hi,

i'm going to order my first mpc 1000 next week and I read a lot about the machine. But 1 thing I can't find much info about is the mixing (eq, compress, etc.) capabilities. Do you use them a lot or is it crap?

I hope you could give some info about this subject.

the eq's, effects and filters are decent enough to get the job done. i mean, if you plan on tracking into a DAW then your question is sort of irrelevant, because you can do all of that once you've tracked into it and use the effects and stuff from there.

the master fx (eq + comp) are very usefull.

about the filters, they do not sound so great imo, but they are very useful also. i mainly use them as eq ( = not for creative effects but to remove unwanted freq from sounds. most of the time with resonance at zero)
