HELP ME! MPC 1K w/ NORD LEAD V.ANALOG 2

hi, when i do my beats, i use to record the things that im playing, but i wanna go one step further and learn this MIDI shit, the only MIDI-things i've done until now, is downloading the excommence instruments and played them with the NORD LEAD V.ANALOG 2 keyboard connected with MIDI-cables to my MPC. Now i want to try to do it the other way, i want to record MIDI from the keyboard to the sampler, then get the sampler to play my "for example bassline-sequence" on the synth, so if i switch synth-preset, the same melodi will be played, but with a different synth-preset.. is this possible, if yes - how? please help me, thanks..

yeah this is possible, i have a alesis micron. this is how i have my synth/mpc setup: (1K)midi out a-----(micron)midi in (micron)midi out------(1K)midi in 1. Turn local control off on your synth. Turn MIDI soft thru to OMNI A on the 1K. Also pick which MIDI channel you want the 1K to recieve.
