mpc 1000 and fl keys

I just transfered a bunch of realistic piano samples from fl studio to my mpc, but i notice when i play some of the more sustained notes on top of each other or one after the other there is distortion, is there anything i can do to correct this. thanks

Reduce the volume of the samples and that should eliminate the problem.

doesn't this have to do with poly count?

There is a screen that allows you to reduce the intenal overall volume level. Useful if you have a lot of pads playing.

yeah i'll try volume reduction, but could it polyphony like king quota is talking about?
