Pitching with Midi

Quick question guys. I did a seach but i dont think I was seaching the right term.

Is it possible to use a midi keyboard with the MPC1000 so that a sound off the 1000 will be pitched down the keys of midi keyboard?

if you mean assign 1 sample across several or many keys, yes.

if you mean bend the note with ptich bend, NO as of today.

there was a recent post about autochromatic assign on the 1k, do a search for it. it has the info that will help you out.
