not enough memory on the mpc card!?

Hey guys, does the Card that comes with the MPC have something else on it, that im not seeing.

I plugged it into my card reader to load samples, and i get the error message that there is not enough space!? I checked out the sum of all the folders i have on it, and its only at 7.4 mega.

what gives?

yes it does. the CF card that comes new with the mpc has the default pgms and songs on it. if you want, you can delete everything on the card. if you ever want those sounds again, you can always dowload it from akai's website.

i thought you could only retrieve the sounds that came on the machine by reset on boot. where do you find the cf sounds? got a link? thanks man.

look on the left side. it's where the os is. look for "Factory Presets"
