Hey All,
While loading up sounds on the MPC last night, some sounds i put on it, when trying to open them got a error message from the MPC. Cant find sound or something like that. I guess its cause they are 24 bit sounds. But i couldnt check for sure, cause i dont know where to see if the sound file is 24 bit or 16 (im using osx).
I also loaded up this scott torch kit, i found on either here, or futureproducers. and in the kick drum section, there were a bunch of different kicks. But when i played them on the MPC, they all sounded the same. Like it was just playing one and the same kick although i choose each one seperately. still, it played the same kick drum. Not sure what that was.. Maybe some of you have had the same problem, or no what it is off the top of your heads.
Do you guys, use a program to change a bunch of sound files from 24 to 16? Cause i know you could do them one at a time via any audio software, but is there anything out there to speed up the process. That you could take a bunch of them and convert them simuotani... (damn, how you spell that word) .. simultaneously.... <--(is that it?)
well yea, you get the point... Or could it be that the error message had to do with something else?
thanks
M
