Hello all

Forgive me, i am going to ask questions experienced users will find below them...but i don't have the time to sit witht the manual as much as i'd like.

I am sequencing backing tracks. How do i get a sample to cut out when a new one is played? On my old AKAI s3000, i just made the sampler monophonic but there's no option for this. Do i have to set note off messages????

HELP!

:(

this machine is gonna be really difficult for you to learn in three days

but the answer to your first question is to go to program, parameters, and set the samples' mute groups to the same number

and the answer to the other part of you question, there is a way to make them "monophonic" go to program, then F3 (param) like antonym said and look in the upper right corner and set "PLAY" to mono. same thing as monophonic

I still think it would have been faster to look in the manual. In fact, I am pretty sure you can read the entire manual in one day, much less three.

bull shit.

he has previous experience with a sampler.

what he has to do is
buy one of these.

drink it all.

read the index of the manual, and whatever pages he needs to.

within an hour, he'll know it well.

i know thats what i did, and i had NO previous experience with a sampler.

Yeah, i was lookin through it last night, but after 2 hours wasted i thought i'd ask you guys. I was thinking of using the same principle as the triangle that mutes itself in the first demo kit, but you guys have saved me loads of time.

cheers

p.s. i may be back for more help soon
