I can't seem to get my set-up connected. I have an Edirol PCR-80, E-mu 404 soundcard and a 1k. I'm using Reason, fl studio. I followed both sparq and penfold's Reason for dumdies videos and posts. I can trigger the sounds from the keyboard and the 1k. I can't seem to get them recorded. If i record on the MPC and play the keyboard there is no sound in the play back.

I have four midi cables and a usb cable. ....... Thanks.

in the upper part of reason's rack make sure your midi bus is selected to the same one your mpc is, that way the notes will be sent to play back in reason

just real quick, how do you have the midi cables routed?

I have a similar set up to yours and mine works fine.

also make sure 'soft thru' on the MPC is turned off. if it is on, your keyboard could be sending the wrong midi channel.

I try it now. It could be something minor like that
