Problem making programs with MPC Pad 187

After I chop my samples on recycle, I export the slices to my desktop in akp format, the I open the mpc 187 and put the indivivual waves in the pads, once everything is in the pads, a export it to my mpc to make a program, but when I check my mpc the program only has one note (one pad), I remember doing the exact same thing in the past and I would get a program with all the sounds (notes), Am I doing something wrong????

I can't say if you're doing something wrong but my method is to export the recycle slices to a single folder and make the .pgm from that folder (dropping each .wav seperately onto the MPC187 pads) so everything is self contained, save to .pgm then up the whole folder to the MPC. I've also found that keeping filenames fairly short is preferable too.

Sometimes if the file names are too long then MPC Pad will only recorgnize the the sound on the first pad and put that sound on all of the pads. This happened to me once. Now I use shorter names and add a number to my samples out of recycle.
