On OS 2.0 Does track volume affect midi notes from an external sound module as well just for that track? Or is it just the samples that are in memory on the 1k that track volume affects?

the track volume controls both enternal and midi notes from external sound mods. each track on the mpc has its own track volume parameter.

Man, you seem to be so frustrated. Untill os 2 comes, why don't you try some SSL such as Supercollider, or PureData each come with a book, and all that is free, and can do sampling, sound synth and so on. You could try Csound as well but the Csound book ain't free... Those would occupy you, and you'd learn sumthin.
On a side note, to sparq, is it possible to send CC via sliders (real time) with os 2?

from what i can see, no, you can't. not to say that may/may not be a feature on the official 2.0

OK, thanks, anyhow so many new features will come, it'll take a long time till I get everything.
Edit: I don't really care what may/may not be part of the official release, I understand you still have some kind of beta (Doesn't matter, if you have a final version), if you say from what you can see, it's enough for me: I'll try to figure out workarounds, if eventually it's possible great, we'll see... In the mean time, it wont be lost time. So "qui vivra verra" .
