I downloaded some cool mellotron-samples and loaded them in to the mpc....
when I connected my keyboard to it and played the tones where all over the place...
I set the samples up so they are chromatic and so...
Is there any way to set things up, so that the samples plays chromatly when playing on the keyboard...

This way I could use the mpc as a soundmodule playing sounds i havent got in my keyboards....

well...to get the samples to be chromatic on the MPC is not the problem.....It is trigging/playing them from a keyboard connected with midi....
the samples doesn´t come out chromatic when playing chromatic on the keyboard..
has this somthing to do with the midi number meny...??

so yes or no, have you set your pgm on the mpc to chromatic manually? if not, it won't play chromatically on the keyboard.

if when you hit program/note you see (80) in the bottom right side of the screen, you need to set your program to chromatic.

if not, something else is a problem and you'll have to explain further.

When you open the program window its the tab to the right of the parameter tab it will show what note each midi pad is connected to.
