MPC 1000 Pro tools and Reason 3.0

I was just wondering when I use pro tools as the master in my studio setup and the mpc as a slave to protools, but reason as a slave to my mpc. Can I use only my mbox 2 to make all the neccasary connections are do I need to buy an extra midi interface??

i think you'll be ok with just the one, you'd use the midi out form the mbox2 to a midi in on the mpc, then a midi out on the mpc to the midi in on the mbox2. then you'd setup protools to be master to the mpc thru the mbox2's midi out, and the mpc to control reason thru the mpc's midi out.

i think this is how you'd do it, tho i've not played with protools at all, so not 100% sure.
