Hey all,

I'm quite teh newb to the MPC steez but I had a quick question regarding the MPC1000.

Do you guys think its worth the money? Maybe for youse its not so much to pay but I'm struggling just to raise the money...Frantically searching Ebay for a cheap MPC that will get shipped to Europe.

The money issue is becoming a real strain to me, and I wonder whether I'd be better off buying a Trigger Finger or something similar and some other gear instead.

Do you guys rate this is as smart? Could the features of the MPC1000 be replicated through the a Trigger Finger or MPD16?

Thanks for any input - peace.

nah, but it does help to search

man the mpc and mpd are two completely different things.

the mpc is a workstation

the mpd needs to used in conjuction with computer and a software program.

the mpc1000 will be your best at a one stop beat machine

the mpd you need to use the computer

mpcs are fairly cheap on ebay, but if its not you have to think of it as an investment.

i make beats for recreation, i dont make beats for some "hot rapper" or anything like that, if someone feels my beat and i feel they are up to par(mic skills) then i have absolutely no problem in giving them a beat.if you are like me i would see your concern.

but if your serious about making bank off beats then you gotta put in to receive. you know what i mean.

Yup, we've banned hand holding and salesmanship on the forum, so I'm afraid you'll have to read about them online and make up your own mind.
