Hissing Sound after sampling into mpc1000

I did a search for this but didnt really find an answer ....
I was sampling sum kicks and snares into my mpc1000
when i sample it and hit play theres a Sssss sound right
at the end of da kick and snares....

I thought maybe i could trim it...but when i try triming it its
still there and as i keep cuttin it cuts sum of my kick and snare
and sounds like half a drum....is there anotha way using
da mpc 2 cut dis Ssss sound without effecting the sample...

what did you sample from? was it from your turntables? if so, is your TT grounded?

i dunno.

I connected the cable from "RECORD IN" on the mpc
into the headphone jack from the ipod....

It was da way I was told to do It....
It sounds fine on the Ipod but
on the mpc it has dat Ssss noise
which is annoyin....

Does your iPod have a line out, or line out mode on it's headphone jack? (I know my Sony HD mp3 player has). If so, try using that

pop the mp3 into your computer and then convert it to a wav
then put it into recycle and chop it there
then export it to your flash card
then load it from your flash card into your mpc
