i finally took the plunge and got a mpc-1000 from a guitar center instrument sale on instrumentexchange.com. i picked it up for $685 shipped, and it should be here on friday.

i'm not entirely sure if it's coming with a compact flash card, as it's used, but whatever. i'm pretty happy that it's coming at all, and that it's be guarenteed to work.

anyway... just thought i'd let everyone know.
I'll be flying from philly to florida and spending the next week there enjoying the beach, and (when i come back from the beach) my new mpc!
i'll let you know how everything's going.

download a manual and read, push the buttons you read about while making a draft sequence. You'll learn alot.

Go through the book again cause you may not catch everything
the first time around, push those buttons again.
