I checked the manual and searched for this question but I still camn't find anything. I have been under the impression (I forget how) that it is possible to save songs from the mpc as MIDI files. THus alowing me to load the data from the mp into sonar to further edit my track and eventually record each track into audio. SO far I can't figure out how to even save my songs as MIDI on the mp. Is this all even possible? THanks for the help.

Whenever you save .all you are saving the sequence and how each pad was "played" That message that you are saving is a midi message. When u involve samples than u need to save the aps. When u want to edit these events u need to track them into the cpu using the outputs and midi cables. The midi cables should transmit the midi message to the computer where u can than put your own drums and sounds from the computer into each midi message on your beat.
