midi question

I was going to post this up in the newbie section but since i got a 1k, this is the situation. I have a pc, midi keyboard controller, and 1k.

I have the controller hooked via usb to pc so i can play samples in fl studio, the controller only has midi out, so i hooked it up to the midi in #1 on the 1k. The question is basically how i can record midi data from the keyboard performance into the mpc, since i can't midi out on the 1k back into the keyboard, because as i have stated the shi**y keyboard doesn't have a midi in. Thanks.

you need a soundcard with midi in or a USB device with midi in.
you're going to have to buy something else (:

Record into fruityloops with your controller & then save the project as a midi file and inport it into the mpc. Might not be the best deal but it's all you can really do with your setup.
By the way, usb midi devices are super cheap nowadays- look around on the web for "midiman".

i use the m-audio uno for reason, it's like 40 bucks and works like a charm.
