PAD MIDI note number

Is there any chance that in a coming OS update the MIDI note range to which PADS can be assigned is stretched to include the full MIDI note range (from 0 to 127) raher than be limited to 64 given notes?
This is seriously limiting using the MPC as a midi controller.
