Hello people, i was wondering with the Bluebox program you can load up samples on the pad via your computer>save the samples and create a program for the arrangement.kool!

My big question is if i have am MPC 1000 with the standard 16mb RAM,lets say i use 2 diffrent program kits that take up 15mb of my RAM.What do i do when i want to only save the particular samples in the program kits i used instead of all the kits FOR the program?

Example
-----------
Kanye Kits- 10 drums, 4 snare

But i only used 2 drums and 1 snare. so how do i save the program and the 2 drums and 1 snare.

do it all in the mpc

load up whichever pgm you use LESS sounds in

in trim mode, delete the unused samples

load the other program

delete the unused samples

and then use the program consolidation

:( Reason for the question is i have programs that load up like 30 drums and another that loads up like 40 snares.

So if i used a 3 out ov each i gotta manually delete the rest??? OH MY LAWD

Is it better to just go to the program page and remove all the one's am no using and PURGE them???

in this case it's easiest to remember which ones you used and load only those

build your pgm in the mpc

or just build it in bluebox

regardless you gotta do it from scratch.

and regardless, you're gonna want to up your ram...
