Anyone taken your 1000 apart?

I'm just wondering if anyone has taken the front (top) panel, CF bay, and sides off of your units?.....I just want to know if it's a pain, or not.....I'm preparing myself to eventually convert my BLUE MPC to BLACK when the kit is available.

Taking the MPC apart is no problem. If you have any specific questions just PM me. I have done it multiple times.

The black kit will not be available for another 2 months or so.

the blue kit is on sale now for 55 bucks, does not come with a new screen cover or side panels. (just so u know)

i took my mpc apart once to remove the shift button that broke off and fell inside.. i had trouble putting it back together though for some reason its like the frame for warped abit when i took it apart. but now shes back 2getha
