on my broken mpc, i wasnt ever sure if there was a prob with the ram or not, i took the ram out problems still persist. so now that im getting a brand new mpc, my ram has been sitting on a shelf for a while, wonder if theres any potential danger to the new mpc if i install the ram into the new mpc? i think the ram has probably nothing wrong with it, but if there is could that mess the mpc up, or would the mpc just fail to read it?

in a perfect world, the ram should have been placed in an anti-static bag, (the silver one like what comes wrapped over hard drives) but if you do not have one, just place it in a baggie (like sandwich bags) i've had ram sticks left out for months with nothing going wrong with them.
