Delay Bug?

Hey all --

Just wanted to find out if anyone else has come across this error in 2.1:

On the Delay parameters page, using Shift+Left arrow to adjust the Time creates massive CPU Address Error / Stack Dump that requires a "reboot".

If you cursor to the second set of Time digits, i.e. after the decimal, and press Shift+Left, it'll crash when you reach the "." Though I can replicate this consistently, and it's easy enough to work around -- ("Doctor, it hurts when I do this!" "Then don't do that!") -- I just want to be sure it's a common bug and not specific to my machine... if anyone feels daring enough to try it! (Just don't do it on a kit you haven't saved yet... like I did.)

yeah, it happened to me but you just summed it up. it's nothing really and to me, two digits????!? that's nothing to just turn the data wheel without having to use the shift+arrow

I haven't even been to that screen yet, but Sparq: you gotta be kidding me. It's nothing? I'm so accustomed to hitting shift and arrows to select digits on this machine, to claim that a complete fizzle-out is nothing when you do it on one screen (where it's obviously supposed to stay consistent and work)...give me a break. That's on some Ari Fleischer of the MPC administration styles right there... (or whoever they have lying for the President these days)

people on message boards have a tendency to exaggerate...full "end of the world" type stuff... the new OS is great, but it has its bugs. bona fide bugs. no denying that.

there is no exaggeration to what i just said. i stated TO ME. yes, it does happen. yes, it is something that has to be looked at by akai.

NO, it will not stop you from doing what you have to do. like i also stated, it's only two digits ranging from 00 - 99. it's not like you're in the trim screen where you have what, 6 digits to scroll through?

and i never said it wasn't a bug.

i'm sure you are in complete control of your motor skills. you are now aware there is a problem on that screen, just take control and make a conscience effort not to press the shift/arrow key on that screen. it's not difficult.
