New debugged OS?

When do you think Akai is gonna release a 2.20 or 2.11 OS to get rid of all the bugs in OS 2.10?

I'm sure they will, but they're finishing the new OS for the 2500 and they still have to work on the new (final) OS for the 4000. So I would think that the next OS for the 1000 would take some time before Akai can work on it.

LOOK, i have not run into a single bug that has impeded me from working on my mpc 1000. i have finished 3 songs since the os dropped and started maybe 15.

WE DONT NEED TO START NEW POSTS BITCHING ABOUT WHEN SOME BUG FREE OS IS COMING OUT.

please, please please tell me what bug is preventing you from working right now. please.

I gotta agree with Nym. Theres nothing in OS 2.10 that should be killing anyone's workflow. I'm having a blast working with all the new features.

Okey sorry I just got my MPC1000 today and haven't discovered any bugs yet, but two friends of mine have been using os 2.10 since it came out and they said that it was full of bugs... So I was just checking =)

i was scared at first when things went wrong but all in all its tight

ocassional directory error - which can be avoided

sometimes freezes when creating a new folder - couldnt solve this other than starting up again

my shit crashes all the time, especially when using the step editor and program menus.

It's definitely impeded my work, maybe if they made saving more reliable it wouldn't be a big deal. My shit never saves right using entire memory unless it replace all the old files. That can take time plus wears down your CF card.

Even if saving was easier, what I liked the most about my MPC was that before the new patch it NEVER crashed compared to a computer based system which is prone to crash frequently.

Seriously, for the person who started this thread, get into the machine and learn it. You will see it is NOT FULL of bugs. And to everyone else wondering, 2.2 or whatever they call it will not be out for a long time. As I stated beforen the 1k is not akai's only machine. Work with what you have. More hot shiz was made with far less.
