Volume question for ya'll

Whaddup I just got my mpc1k back from VST.. Loaded 2.0 things are cool I had change the master volume no biggie. Everything works great and more. I'm gettin to experience the awesome features of 2.0... Heres my dilema I searched but couldn't find a solution... I sampled a drum break, the levels sound fine when sampling, and trimming it down.. Then I go to assign my kick, snare, hi hat, all that good stuff to the pads, but now when I play the pads the volume is not as loud as when I was playing in trim mode, or when I sampled it....I adjusted the track volume, madsure the master volume is set to 0....Help would greatly be appreciated..

Wierd i just sampled something else (some horns), and pu them to pad, and they sound good in volume.hmmmm.. Any suggedtions are still welcomed..

I usually use the normalize function in the edit menu, that boosts levels

Yea I know.......But its weird b/c I sampled something again and the volumes matched in edit mode, and when it was set to pad.... Where as the first drum break that I sampled in edit mode, and when I sampled it, it sounded good. then I set that sample to pad, and the volume was much lower. It just seems weird. I can tell you this never happened in the 1.07 os.. Oh well I was just seeing if anyone had experience this...
