How in the hell do you mute a certain bar in a track and keep the track going while you record the whole track. Like you wan't to bring the beat in at a certain time need help asap please.

leave mute off and delete everything but the part you want to drop in.

copy the main seq.
edit the copyied seq to sound like the mute u want.
chain it together in song mode.
