I got my new Behringer ADA8000 working last night. I connected the four outs of the MPC to the first four inputs on the ADA8000. So now I'm thinking of setting up a template in the MPC so each column of pads gets assigned its own output. I still have the main outs routed to my analog mixer for monitoring purposes. I don't always have the computer on when I'm making a beat, so I'd like to easily switch between (1) having all pads assigned to the main outs and (2) each column of pads assigned to their corresponding individual outs. In other words, I'd like to switch between two mixer settings in one program. Is this possible? According to the manual and what I've seen so far, the mixer settings get saved with the program. So do you all manually set the outputs in your MPC mixer *everytime* you track to your DAW? I guess it wouldn't matter if I was always monitoring from the DAW. Then I wouldn't have to bother with the main outs (or I could use them as two more tracks). But, I'd really like to work with the computer off before tracking to the DAW. Thanks.
