Problem recording hits of the pad

Hi there. All my pads are working correctly, but when I'm trying to record a few hits, I find that some haven't been recorded when I playback.

It seems like the only one's registering with the record are those that fit into the tick tick tick of the record mode.

When I hit the same pad more than once in a short time span, it doesn't seem to like it.

I'm hoping there's a simple setting I have to just change, but I haven't had this problem in the past.

you're right, we couldn't speak walk or eat without the help of our mothers. however, we quickly advanced out of this stage, bought mpcs and read the manuals. if you don't know what TC is at this stage, you need to sell your machine or read the manual. if you have already read it, read it again. and again.

very few of us still shit in our pants anymore. the manual will teach you how to wipe your own ass.

i'm not being mean, i'm being as helpful as i can possibly be. come back with more advanced questions, when you have them - which you undoubtedly will when you start taking your MPC seriously. THEN we will respond with in depth answers and common courtesy.

TC stands for Timing Correction - it basically moves or 'corrects' your hits of the pad to fit the tempo. You can adjust the timing to be looser to give you more freedom, or even turn it off completely. In the main window press either F1 or F2 (I forgot which, I'm at work so can't check), play with the different settings and see what happens.
