hey guys I'm a newbie but I have been reading the forums for some time now before I registered today.
Anyway, here are some questions that I couldn't find answers for
1. I have a 1k (v2.10) and I want to load programs and sequences that I have created in my previous 2000 and 3000. I am able to use the sounds and samples,but is there anyway to convert pgms from the older mpcs to the new 1000 format?
2. I am using a zip drive, to transfer sounds stored on my old disks to the computer and then to the 1k connected directly via usb or by an optional cf reader that I have. everytime I do this, the computer changes or cuts off characters from the file names (especially the longer ones). Is there a way to avoid this
