My MAC is NOT CONNECTED with the MPC.

I have a problem.

I connect the MPC by USB with my mac and it leaves east message to me:
"mac does not read the introduced disc"

Attempt to repair to the disc from mac and the message is this:
"could not read boot block - input/ouput error"

what is what happens?

(My mac SO versión is 10.4. 6)

10.4.6 running on your Mac... i doubt that. 10.4.5 is the latest.
Anyway, did you put your CF card in the MPC. If so, was it formated?

Sorry, the OS is the 10,4,5,
card CF this erased and formateada.

On your MPC go to LOAD and select "MEMORY CARD" in the LOAD FROM field. Then press F4 (USB).
A drive symbol should appear on your desktop. Double click on it to see the files on the CF in your MPC.
If this doesn't work i don't know what it could be.

Make sure you DON'T format using your Mac!! You need to format it using your MPC and then you can access it via USB.

My friend has a powerbook G4 and has no problem accessing his MPC via USB. Just switch on USB mode, hook it up, and it appears right on his desktop.

I haven't connected the MPC to my Mac with 10.4.5 yet, but i don't think that's the problem.
Did you test it with the original Akai 32MB CF?
Is the USB cable working properly?

Solved!

With the new OS installed in the MPC1000 now the Mac if read the disc of the MPC.
